The Challenge – Having a sound strategic business design was an essential requirement of my client who operates in a strongly regulated market. It is essential that his business meets all the requirements of the various ordinances that are imposed on it at all times.

Taking on or extending your role is always difficult, doubly so when the pressure for results is immediate and the experience in the role is minimal. The risk of making costly mistakes is high, and the chance of exceeding expectations low. In this case study, I explore how personal mentoring can support the acceleration of gaining relevant experience while mitigating the risks faced.

The Problem: Staff were often unclear of their responsibilities beyond their direct job description and were unsure how to progress. The Impact: The business wasn’t resilient to change and made easy to avoid mistakes, leading to a vicious circle of demotivation. How was that circle was reversed?
