Doing business on a walk in the country.

by | Aug 14, 2017 | Business, Collaboration

On the 21st of September, a few things happen,

It’s the Autumn Equinox, the day when the sun is directly above the equator, It’s the moment we move into Autumn. Autumn is a lovely time, a time when the colours mellow, the weather often seems benign, still warm yet with portents of a colder time to come, it may be wet, but even then it’s a time to be out.

It’s also the time of year when businesses first start to think hard about their aims for the year to come, to plan, to design, to prepare. The animals too are gathering the fruits of the season, preparing for leaner times and storing food. there isn’t a better time to walk through the gentle country by the river Thames with other business people and share thoughts, experiences and plans, and allow the atmosphere to enable you to think ahead.

That’s why I’ll be in South Cerney, near Cricklade, with a number of other business owners for a netwalk – a chance to build strong relationships, and gain and give insights to others, over a gentle walk and a pub lunch.

I wrote recently about the impact of walking shoulder to shoulder – read more here…  These are very special days – I do hope that you can join us.
